• London Media Law Resource Center (Sept 19, 2022): Advocating in front of media lawyers from all over the world on behalf of Cartoonists Rights' Legal Advisory Network initiative, with Roslyn Mazer (lawyer), Terry Anderson (Cartoonists Rights' executive director), and Zunar (cartoonist, Malaysia).

• Wow Gstaad (June 24-27, 2022): A presentation on the art of storytelling, at the opening of this new literature festival in Gstaad, with guest star filmmaker Oliver Stone.

• Multimedia show, Opening ceremony of the Red Cross-Red Crescent Conference (Dec 9, 2019): A grand show mixing music, poetry and comics reportage by musician Polar, writer Fabrice Melquiot and cartoonist Patrick Chappatte opens "Power of humanity", the 33rd International Red cross-red crescent meeting.

• EPFL Scientific and Educational Days (September 11, 2018): Chappatte as Keynote speaker, sharing the stage with Jacques Dubochet, Professor and winner of the Nobel Prize in chemistry 2017.

• Basler Dokumentartage (April 9, 2017): “Die Stunde des Karikaturisten”: an encounter with the public of the Basler Dokumentartage, dedicated to art, theatre and performances. Theme of the 2017 event: “It’s the real thing” – very timely in an era of fake news.

• NYT Energy for Tomorrow  (November 3, 2016 & December 7, 2015): At The New York Times Energy for Tomorrow conference, bringing together entrepreneurs, politicians and experts around the Paris Climate Conference, Chappatte showcases his cartoons on climate, fossil fuels and renewable energies in front of an audience including Al Gore and Emmanuel Macron.

• Neue Zürcher Zeitung Conference  (October 4, 2016): At the newspaper’s headquarters on Falkenstrasse, Zurich, Chappatte meets NZZ am Sonntagreaders and gives a talk in German titled “Was ist das Geheimnis hinter einer guten Karikatur?” – “What’s the secret behind a good caricature?” (We won’t tell you…)

• Dessine-moi la Suisse… (November 18, 2015): Is humor a weapon that divides us? Or to the contrary, is it something uniting us? A cartoon-rich talk at the Cercle romand in Solothurn, and an invitation to examine Switzerland and the world through the lense of a cartoonist.

• NYT Athens Democracy Forum (September 15, 2015): Chappatte sums up the state of democracy for the guests of The New York Times Conference in the birthplace of democracy.
